More Past Adventures

As I look back through the images on my camera, I am reminded of all of the places along the road we have visited and the many faces of friends and fans we have encountered in our travels. There is not always an opportunity to pull the camera out of the bag and record all of the places and events. But, on occasion, I do get inspired and shoot a few memories.

There was the night last whenever in Poulsbo, Washington when I got to play for our friends and fans at Ken’s Team Innovative Landscaping annual party. Ken always throws a heck of a party and this time he outdid even his normal standard. We had a great show with lots of friends, fans, and more new fans, followed by fireworks and a great dinner. Ken always brings me a bottle of my favorite libation, and this time was no exception. Although it was a little chilly, (it made me laugh as I could see my breath in the stage lights) we had a great time performing and the crowd was warm and welcoming.

At some point in the trip, we went chasing the top of Mt. Hood. It was a big adventure trying to get up the mountain with a gig deadline staring us in the face. We never made it to the top, but discovered many scenic views on the way.

I have discovered that I love snow covered mountains, alpine wildflowers, aspen groves, and sunsets and sunrises wherever I can view them. I thought I would include some shots of these from Wyoming, Mexico, at sea, and in California. I have also discovered that I enjoy being on horseback in the wild. I have to admit that it is a bit scary knowing that you’re riding a creature that can think for himself/herself. C’est la vie!

Well friends, that’s all the time I have for now. ‘Til next time…
